Update on Cambridge International Education (CAIE) June 2021 Series

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in adherence to the notice of new Covid-19 precautionary safety measures for schools have announced it is impossible for exams to go ahead in the Saudi Arabia for the June 2021 series. This means that exams for Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and International AS & A Level will no longer take place in Saudi Arabia for the June 2021 series.

CAIE have responded quickly to a unique situation so students are able to stay safe during the global pandemic and yet continue with their education. They will be using the fairest possible alternative to exams for all our students around the world. To ensure students can continue their educational journeys as soon as possible, alternative options of assessment will be continued including school assessed grades for the June 2021 series.

Private Candidates

We will be working with Cambridge to explore the options available for private candidates to receive a grade in the June 2021 series. This may include transferring private candidates to a school where they are enrolled, or a centre that is able to provide them with a school assessed grade.

All private registered candidates will be contacted by our customer service representatives before Thursday 1April for further updates.
